Orbit Screens uses Mother Nature’s principal of material flow to effect a quick, easy, and natural particle size separation. It has been said Mother Nature knows best, she maximizes Orbit Screens use of horse power, machine components, and raw materials in the best way available to the screening industry. Material rolling over its self causes the large particles and light/fluffy items to rise to the surface of the material mix. (As in a mountain stream or an avalanche.) This effect is the difference between our screens and any other screen on the market.
Orbit Screens utilizes a correctly shaped rotating screen tilted relative to gravity to provide for accurate sizing of materials, the larger and lighter material flows out of the screen dish onto the Overs Conveyor. Maximum efficiency is realized as the overs flow out, allowing the smaller material to pass through the screen and onto the Fines Conveyor.
Efficiency over box screens is achieved because the Orbit Sceens’ dish keeps rotating the same direction rather that reversing direction like the shaking of a box screen. Efficiency over a trommel is achieved because the material stays in the screen until it is processed and doesn’t need to be reprocessed.
Efficiency over both is achieved over both when the time comes to change a screen.
